RK Evaluation & Strategies prepared customized one-day program planning sessions for the board of directors of Rainbow Families DC, a small, non-staffed nonprofit agency. In 2009, the organization identified audiences and key short-term outcomes, linking those with longer-term results, and it identified and prioritized activities and outputs to create the base of a detailed work plan and calendar. We delivered a logic model, work plan, and calendar of program events, along with a memo outlining next steps for the board to apply these new tools. In 2010 and 2011, Kane led the organization through annual program review and planning processes, identifying areas of strength and potential growth, and delivering updated work plans and action items.
