We led a research project in 2014 for The Commonwealth Fund regarding health policy thought leaders. We interviewed 36 respected health system leaders, payers, and policy makers and analyzed their views on challenges and solutions in health care today. The Commonwealth Fund used the findings in decision-making discussions with program teams and with their board of directors. In 2016 and 2019, Kane led an internal board governance assessment in a few areas of inquiry.
